Sometimes, chefs’ knives turn deadly instead of creating a dish to die for.

Emma and Jax, her droopy-eared basset, expected a typical day at Caprice Bistro. 

Until she discovers the hotheaded chef in the freezer—her butcher knife nearby, blood-covered!

Everyone is a suspect, even Emma, along with the angry delivery man, the dishwasher or someone else.

Clues surround them, Jax unwittingly creating some of his own.

The dismissive detective is skeptical and stubborn.  She must gain his trust to prove whether it was one of her co-workers or an intruder.
